yes, your book lists were great. have you read peggy orenstein’s Cinderella Ate My Daughter: Dispatches from the Front Lines of the New Girlie-Girl Culture? while i don’t agree with all of her opinions and positions, there is some great stuff in there. i highly recommend it to parents with girls.
I haven’t read that one, Kate! I have been lazy about reading lately (pregnant brain) and now my list of books I want to read is looming like a black cloud over my head. I need to turn things around and get disciplined again. Going to the library for more picture books for the kiddos this week and I’ll check it out
I love all of these posts, so it’s hard to pick a favorite. I’m happy “10 Books You Must Read To Your Daughter” was so popular: it brought me to the blog in the first place. I have since been able to get to know your lovely family, if only virtually.

We’re still loving that curriculum! Due to my horrible pregnancy nausea, we’ve only made it to Letter E. Hoping to get more accomplished before baby arrives in May!
