First of all you are cordially invited to a Facebook Party to celebrate our new ebook launch on Thursday evening (9:30 pm EST) to chat liturgical year traditions, Advent, and whatever strikes our fancy! Oh, and I have tons of giveaway prizes to give out (including candles, beautiful prints, picture books, print copies of Feast! and, of course, a few copies of our new ebook!. It’ll be like a hobbit birthday party where the hosts gives the guests presents. (Nerd alert.) Woohoo! Head on over to the event page and RSVP!

And I’m SO EXCITED that starting Wednesday there will a blog tour for the book featuring some of my absolute favorite favorite bloggers. Check out the schedule! These lovely ladies will be chatting Advent, liturgical traditions, life around the table, and more!

December 3rd-Bonnie Engstrom, A Knotted Life

December 4th-Sarah Ortiz, Two Os Plus More

December 5th-Rhonda Ortiz, Real Housekeeping

December 6th- Dwija Borobia, House Unseen, Life Unscripted

December 7th-Cari Donaldson, Clan Donaldson

December 8th-Kendra Tierney, Catholic All Year

December 9th-Abbey Dupuy, Surviving Our Blessings

December 10th- Christy Isinger, Fountains of Home

December 11th-Beth Cranford, Eat Better, Spend Less

December 12th-CajunTexasMom, Ora et Labora et Maternitas

December 13th-Olivia Spears, To the Heights

December 14th-Sarah Babbs, Fumbling Toward Grace

December 15th-Nell O’Leary, Whole Family Parenting

And Christy and I are chatting BBC costume dramas on Episode 3 of the Fountains of Carrots Podcast. In this episode, you will be amazed by our extreme nerdyness regarding miniseries involving British accents and fancy dresses, my encyclopedic knowledge of everything Jane Eyre, Christy’s thoughts on obscure Anthony Trollope adaptions, how much we hate Anne the Continuing Story, how everything is just a few degrees removed from Michael Kitchen, and the insane length of time we spend prattling on about our favorite shows. (And Baby Gwen makes a few appearances in the squawking department.)

And I’m already excited about next week’s episode because we just recorded it with my lovely friend Colleen Nixon of Marian Grace. Get excited. We get real about church music.

I love how you even spelled “favorite” the British way. Or the Canadian way? Either way, I’m excited for both upcoming podcasts!

I leave the spelling to the fancy Canadians (cough cough, Christy) 😉 Thanks, Bonnie!

Haha, I can’t not spell favourite the proper Canadian/British way…it goes against everything I stand for 😉
