Inspired life Podcast Haley Stewart

Happy Friday, y’all! Sweet Kristin Sanders asked me to be on her wonderful podcast This Inspired Life and we talked about women and the Church.

But poor Kristin had to do tons of editing out of interruptions from my cute and loud children. Baby Gwen who is usually Miss Cheerful thought it was HORRIBLE that she couldn’t see mama RIGHT NOW and screamed her head off while I was in the bedroom trying to figure out this podcasting thing. And since our house is a a bit teensy, I’m pretty sure you can hear her screaming through most of the podcast. I promise she was not being tortured. And Benjamin and Lucy woke up from nap about halfway through the podcast and wanted to know why they couldn’t podcast, too. Poor, long-suffering Kristin.

And I was in bundle sale sleep-deprivation mode, so I’m not entirely sure anything I said makes sense. And I’m afraid to listen to it and find out, haha. But I did want to clarify something I said near the end that maybe could be misconstrued. We were chatting about NFP and I was talking about looking forward to the day I don’t have to chart and worry about NFP. Which COULD be understand as looking forward to when I can’t have any more kids, but that’s not what I meant. I was meaning that I’m looking forward to the day I can stop charting and hopefully have another baby. Maybe there was no need to clarify, but it’s been bugging me that I didn’t say that clearly. Remind me to podcast on more than 4 hours of sleep next time.

AND did you know that you can vote for your favorite Catholic speakers for support a Catholic speaker month? Someone sweet nominated me!

AND there’s two giveaways going on at Carrots this week for Holy Heroes and Nicole Lataif’s new book. And did you see that there is a rival to my Stitch Fix affections? Golden Tote. Daniel’s catch phrase for it is, “Your Golden Ticket to Fashion Fun” so….there’s that.

Happy Friday, y’all! The mosquitos are dying down a little bit and it’s not 10,000 degrees outside so…we can actually use our backyard again! And go on walks! Hooray! Hope it’s starting to be fall where you are.

Haha – believe me, I cut out far more of my own awkwardness than anything from your sweet kids! 🙂 And you sounded great! Congrats on being nominated for Favorite Catholic Speaker!!
