Do You Have Things? Do You Need a Bag for Those Things? (A Giveaway from Drawstrings!)

Welcome to Carrots! I'm so glad you're back. You can sign up for my email newsletter here to stay in touch, or look me up on Instagram!

So excited to be hosting a great giveaway today from Drawstrings by Wanda Styrsky of Re-inventing Mother! Wanda is a faithful Carrots reader and an all-around lovely gal.

Drawstrings giveaway.jpg

Wanda recently started selling her handmade bags and they are beautiful. She chooses the cutest fabrics and I can personally attest to the fact that they are sturdy and well-made because this adorable bag has survived being used by my children for over a week and is still in perfect condition (I know! Wonders never cease!).

There are endless possibilities for how you might use a Drawstrings bag, but Lucy needed something to keep her little ballet things in so that I wouldn’t be finding tutus under the couch that escaped from dress-up time.

balletthings.jpg

Not that things like tutus ever get lost under the couch for weeks at a time at OUR house where things are always SHIP SHAPE (ahem).  But say I was the sort of housekeeper who lost things under the couch…this bag would certainly come in handy. Also, it has a little “grab and go handle” for hanging it up and that makes my heart sing:

handlyloop.jpg

Lucy thinks her Drawstrings bag is pretty wonderful and can you even handle that little toddler ballerina belly?

DrawstringsLucy.jpg

And from the lovely way her Drawstrings bag was packaged when it arrived in the mail, I have a feeling that Wanda isn’t the sort of person who tosses her daughter’s birthday present in a grocery bag, throws some tissue paper on top and says, TA DA! (Yes, I am that sort of person. Sorry, Gwen. Nobody remembers their first birthday, right? Just say yes to make me feel better.)

drawstringspackage.jpg

Wanda’s bags come in sizes small to large, so they can be used for much more than keeping your dress-up clothes handy. The large sizes would make lovely laundry bags, the small sizes would be ideal for jewelry, hair things, or makeup.

drawstringspromo

And Drawstrings are a big hit with you crafty folk out there in need of knitting bags. I think Drawstrings would also be the perfect bag to keep children’s Mass items in. (We let our kids take religious board books and picture books, rosaries, holy cards, etc to look at during Mass to help with the wiggles.) And a Drawstrings rosary bag is even in the works!

And for the giveaway! Wanda is kindly offering one of her small Drawstrings bags to a lucky Carrots reader! You can choose any of the bags from her Etsy site and if you’d like a different fabric, Wanda will help you find what you are looking for and make a custom bag just for you. Just enter in the rafflecopter below! (If you’re using a feed reader, you may need to click over to the actual site to see the giveaway widget.)

a Rafflecopter giveaway

And from today (June 2nd) through Friday, June 6th, Wanda is offering a 15% discount for Carrots readers on any bag on her Etsy site (and like the giveaway prize, if you don’t see a fabric you like, just message Wanda through Etsy and she will make a custom bag for you!). The coupon code is: CARROTS2

Disclosure: Drawstrings is a Carrots sponsor and the bag I reviewed and the giveaway prize were complimentary. As always, I only promote products that I use, love, and am excited to share!
