A few weeks ago when I shared my “one word” for 2014, I mentioned that some of my health goals had to do with preventing morning sickness in future pregnancies with B vitamins and Magnesium since I’ve struggled with severe pregnancy sickness in the past. So many of you emailed or commented wanting to hear more about preventing morning sickness that I wrote a whole post on the topic and my friend Stephanie is sharing it on her site: Mama and Baby Love, so head on over! I really hope these tips will help all of us who experience horrible morning sickness.

Daniel gave me the wonderful gift of holding down the fort at home so I could attend a Lenten retreat this past weekend and it was so wonderful! I’m excited to continue processing all the things I learned and I’m not quite ready to jump back into everyday life. Praying that each and every one of you are having a fruitful and blessed Lent!

Ok I am REALLY hoping you can put this to the test soon and let me know if it works 🙂 I’m in the same boat here with 3 smalls and 27 months of all day sickness under my belt – you’ve inspired/reminded me to kick it up a notch with the folic acid and B vitamin gummies!

I read this back when you originally published it and mentally filed away for preparation before we end this season of trying to avoid. As it turns out, God’s timing is different than ours and I got a positive the next day. I immediately upped my vitamin B and manganese intake through supplements and diet, focusing on at least one serving of beans, lentils, spinach, and/or quinoa daily. I had morning sickness starting at 6 weeks with my first two babies and am pleased to say that at 8 weeks, I have yet to have even a wave of nausea. Thank you for doing all of the research and sharing with us. You’ve saving at least one expecting mother from misery.
