Y’all! I was floored to find out that Carrots won not one but TWO Sheenazing Awards this year because of your votes. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Just being nominated last year was so exciting that I am GIDDY that I have such awesome readers who took the voting by storm.

Carrots won for Best Lifestyle Blog against some VERY intimidating competition (I seriously can’t believe it when I look at all the amazing bloggers on the ballot) and Best Looking Blog (but we know that’s all thanks to Lauren Gulde of Santa Clara Design (does your blog need a redesign? Email her!)

Be sure to check out the other winners and nominees over at A Knotted Life! There are some awesome blogs featured that deserve to be on everyone’s blogroll. And give a big hand to the wonderful Bonnie who put all of it together. You’re the best, Bonnie! Bonnie also is asking us to pray for a miracle for a little girl named Samantha. Please join us in prayer!

We’re hoping for the first snowfall in 25 years in my town in N. Florida, although it looks like we’re just gonna get some icy rain. But we’re staying warm with hot apple cider on the stove and snuggling down for a read aloud and movie day.

You can find me today over at Catholic Exchange discussing public breastfeeding, the Pope, and defiant life in a culture of death.

And don’t forget! Our ebook is on sale for almost 40% off this week (and the print version went on sale at Amazon for only $13.77!)

Congrats! I voted for you for both!
I can’t believe you are hoping for snow! Take mine, please- and the cold, too (MN). We actually have not had a ton of snow this year, probably because it has been SO cold. Public schools across the state were closed 5 times in January alone because of dangerous cold (-35 to -50 wind-chills). It has been awful, but I am so looking forward to Spring now. I find myself jealous of you gals in the warmer states!
